On November 2, 2024, the academic forum titled "Intermedial Art Studies in the Digital-Intelligence Era" was successfully held at the Gulou Campus of Nanjing University. The event was organized by the School of Artsand hosted by the research team of the major project from the National Social Science Fund for the Study of Art Theory: "Cross-Media Construction of Art Theory and Its Epistemology Research" (Project No. 20ZD26). Over sixty experts and scholars from various universities across China, including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Communication University of China, East China Normal University, Hangzhou Normal University, Southeast University, and Nanjing University, as well as research institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Chinese National Academy of Arts, gathered to discuss the prospects of Intermedial Art Studies in the digital-intelligence era.
