In the afternoon of November 11, 2024, Muhayat Jahai, Dean of the School of Fine Arts and Design at Ili Normal University, visited the School of Arts at Nanjing University. During the research visit, Dean Muhayat Jahai also toured the Sculpture Art Research Institute of Nanjing University, the Wu Weishan Sculpture Garden, the Purple Clay Cultural Heritage Base and Purple Clay Laboratory of the Ministry of Education at Nanjing University, and the Nanjing Meiji Art Museum, which is a Jiangsu Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage Creative Base.
Since 2002, Nanjing University and Ili Normal University have had a strong cooperative foundation. Recent exchanges between their art schools deepened mutual understanding and clarified future cooperation directions. They plan to collaborate on student training, academic exchanges, discipline building, and faculty development to jointly promote art education.
